The 5th Medical Students’ Academia Day, organized in collaboration with İzmir University of Economics Faculty of Medicine and the İzmir University of Economics Medicine Club, was held with wide participation in the university’s conference hall. 11th Bioethics Symposium Successfully Held at Izmir University of Economics
The 11th Bioethics Symposium, jointly organised by the Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Faculty of Medicine and the Turkish Bioethics Association, was successfully held in Izmir on 28–29 November 2025. Held under the theme “Youth and Bioethics in Times of Crisis”, the symposium highlighted new directions for bioethics in Türkiye by foregrounding youth participation, interdisciplinary dialogue, and innovative formats of academic exchange.

IUE Medical Point Hospital, which makes a difference with its patient-oriented approach in healthcare services in Turkey, won the “Patient Friendly Hospital 2024” award given by the International Center for Strategic Health Studies (USSAM).
