Dormitory

 

Student dormitory is located on campus and accommodates 460 people. It is an 8-story building, 4 floors are allocated for girls and 4 floors are allocated for boys.

All doors operate by a personal card access system. Common areas are under constant surveillance.

All 230 rooms are designed to accommodate 2 people and there is one room for the physically disabled. All rooms include a bathroom, refrigerator, telephone, internet connection and a bed, wardrobe, dresser, study desk, bookcase for each resident.

The Dormitory Administration provides pillows, sheets, coverlets, blankets and duvet covers, and the sheets are changed once a week, while the rooms are cleaned every other day.

The building has central air conditioning system, and geothermal energy is used for heating and hot water.

There an administrator, receptionists, and security guards are available on campus for 24 hours.

The Building has common areas for use by residents, and a cafeteria and a restaurant run by Bioderm.

Breakfasts and meals are provided as table d’hôtel or a la carte at the restaurants (for a fee) located in the main building and dormitory building.

For health concerns during the day, you can report to the Health Office on campus within Office hours, and on holidays and night time, you can go to outpatient clinics close to the University or to Dokuz Eylül University Hospital.

5M Migros, Özdilek, Kipa hypermarkets, and Agora, Palmiye, Ege Park shopping malls and movie theaters are all walking distance from the Campus.There is also a basketball field available on campus.

Residents of the Student Dormitory can renew their registration in May every year and new students can register in August.

2016-2017 academic year dormitory fee per person in a double room is 11.900 Turkish Liras (VAT included) annual (Please note that fees change every year).
